No, neither of us play the fiddle (or violin, or viola, or cello, etc.)...
Our blog name actually comes from an argument.
Nick & I were in an argument about something- neither of us remembers what it was about now, as usually happens after silly arguments- and I explained to him that I felt a little like second fiddle.
His response was wonderfully sweet and has become one of our favorite couple sayings... he said,
"You are my primary fiddle."
It was the perfect thing to say and it made us both laugh, actually I think it ended the argument and we've been saying it ever since whenever we need to remind each other that our top priority is each other.
