Happy 4th of July!

We're busy packing for our weekend trip to visit my parents and extended family in Alabama but we're finding time to celebrate our country's birthday, too! 

Our plan was to spend the day productively and then head out to celebrate at some of the local events but Athens is having dreary, rainy weather all weekend and all of the 4th festivities have been cancelled :( 

So, we are looking forward to a fun weekend with family and maybe some belated 4th celebrating after the weather clears :) 

The Wiese family is a patriotic bunch and we like to spend Independence Day celebrating our unique and amazing country while being thankful to all of the people who have struggled and sacrificed for us to be where we are today. 

America, 

Sometimes we don't see eye to eye but there's still no place I'd rather call home.
